Freeware application Songbeat scours previously mentioned music streaming service Seeqpod for tunes, then streams or downloads the music directly to your desktop. Just install the app (the installer asks for your email address, but I was able to install without entering anything), fire it up, and start searching. You can choose to either stream or download any of the search results, but downloading will automatically save the MP3 to your default music folder or to any other folder of your choice (though streaming is handy to check the quality before you download). You can play back any of the downloaded files in the My Music section of the player or—you know—in your media player of preference. Songbeat grabs results from Seeqpod fast, and the downloads are generally very quick. Songbeat is freeware, Windows only (a "Pro" version is available and a Mac version is coming in 2-4 weeks).

Web site Can You Run It determines whether or not your PC can run any of a number of popular video games by checking your computer's specs against the minimum and recommended requirements of said games. Just browse to the homepage, pick the game you want to check, and click the Can You Run It button. The site will require you to install a Java applet to run the test (presumably so it can determine your hardware configuration) and then quickly returns the results. Plot:
A Zombie curse is placed upon a woman, which causes her to have living snakes inside her. Brujo (Castro), who is looking after her, attempts to take her to Los Angeles on the train. Whilst all this is happening, normal, everyday passengers are relaxing, what is unknown to them is that something deadly is heading their way, and that their is no were out. ¡¿QUE?!

Goldeneye Coming To Xbox 360, Rareware Revisiting 007

Xbox Evolved has many sources indicating that the classic N64 Rareware title “Goldeneye 007” will be coming to Xbox Live Arcade later this year, as well as many others.
The title will feature updated graphics, and of course an all-new Xbox Live multiplayer. Not only that, but we have found evidence that Rareware is planning on releasing even more of their back catalog onto Xbox Live Arcade, specifically, Perfect Dark and the original Banjo-Kazooie. Expect more on at least Goldeneye 007 later this year.

An update from The Dominion Post has confirmed that Peter Jackson's Weta Workshop in New Zealand will design the costumes for Justice League. Weta Workshop specializes in physical effects such as costumes, props, models and movie sets, and Weta Digital does computer-generated visual effects. At the moment, the only confirmation is that Weta Workshop will be developing the costumes and that Weta Digital is NOT necessarily involved with the CGI.
